The Institute of Insurance Economics (IVW-HSG) is launching the CAS Insurance Business Certificate, an innovative continuing education program that specifically addresses the changing requirements for young executives and talented newcomers to the insurance industry.
The successful AssekuranzForum is being further developed and realigned as a certified CAS programme in English. The part-time continuing education program is aimed at team leaders, project managers and technical experts who want to systematically deepen their knowledge of insurance management and strategically expand their leadership skills.

Executive Education at HSG aims to prepare leaders at all levels for the profound changes taking place in the industry. In an increasingly digitalised and regulated insurance world, strategic thinking and a comprehensive understanding of the value chain are becoming increasingly important. This is exactly where the Insurance Business Certificate (CAS HSG) comes in – as a springboard for managers who want to actively shape an AI-driven future.
Practical, compact and internationally oriented
The part-time programme comprises 15 days of classroom teaching and three online sessions for modular preparation and is credited with 10 ECTS points. The topics covered range from strategic market analysis, the international insurance environment and financial management with business simulation to the concrete application of AI in leadership and organisation.

The programme thus closes a gap in talent development at many companies that offer functional training but often fail to promote a comprehensive, holistic understanding of insurance management.
