At this year’s annual meeting of the American Risk and Insurance Association (ARIA) in Washington D.C./USA, the teams of Prof. Dr. Alexander Braun (together with PhD students Niklas Häusle and Julia Braun), Prof. Dr. Martin Eling (together with PhD students Yang Liu, Dingchen Ning, Jakob Walter and Marcel Freyschmidt), Prof. Hato Schmeiser (together with PhD students Manuel Mezger and Danjela Guxha & former PhD student Arina Brutyan), Prof. Dr. Manuel Rach and Prof. Dr. Anastasia Kartasheva were invited to presented their research papers. All I.VW-HSG delegates enjoyed four days of inspiring presentations, discussions and panels with academics, scholars and practitioners representing a global community committed to collaboration among people interested in the study of risk and insurance. They returned with new perspectives and inputs to continue their research.
