The course is specifically targeted at board members of insurance companies coming from other business sectors and without an insurance background and costs USD 15,000 (including accommodation and meals while in Zurich).
Prof. Dr. Hato Schmeiser as well as Prof. Dr. Martin Eling will be involved as lecturers in this course. It consists of 6 online modules (EMEA/Asia friendly time zone) which will take place between 13 September and 4 October 2022 and a 2.5-day programme which will take place at Swiss Re NEXT and the Centre for Global Dialogue from 10 to 12 October 2022. The programme examines and explains the business fundamentals of an insurance company. It will enable participants to identify insurance profit drivers, while providing an understanding of capital, liability, asset and risk management challenges.
