Six EU countries have already introduced regulatory frameworks on the topic of the «Right to be Forgotten for Cancer Survivors» (RTBF). Based on the EU’s «Beating Cancer Plan», it is expected that other countries will soon adopt similar legislation. This study by Prof. Dr. Hato Schmeiser analyzes the impact of this new regulatory framework on policyholders and the insurance industry.
